Hire Rates & Payments

  • When hiring from Junortoun Hire you will be given the choice of the following hire periods below! If you're unsure about the hire duration, it's best to start with the shorter time option. If you need the machine for longer, we can easily adjust the price to the next hire period.

    • Half-day hire is any 4-hour period within our business hours.

    • Full-day hire is any period over 4 hours within our business hours.

    • Weekly hire is 7 days from the start of the hire.

    • Monthly hire is 30 days from the start of the hire.

  • We accept payments via cash, EFTPOS, or credit card at the time of pickup. If you have any specific payment preferences or questions, feel free to reach out to our team for assistance.

  • Yes, Junortoun Hire requires a deposit for all equipment in addition to the full hire price. Once the equipment is returned and inspected for any damage by our qualified mechanics, the deposit will be refunded. Please note, refunds are processed via internet banking and may take 1-14 business days to appear in your account. We appreciate your patience!

Returning Of Equipment

  • Yes, Junortoun Hire provides every machine with a full tank of fuel when hired. Please ensure you refill the machine before returning it. If the machine is not returned with a full tank, the rates below will be charged. Please note, all 2-stroke engines will be supplied with fuel—please do not refuel these! Also, NO ETHANOL FUEL is allowed. Thank you for your cooperation!

    • ULP 91 - $1.80 per litre

    • PULP 95 - $1.90 per litre

    • Diesel - $2.00 per litre

  • If you're short on time and need your machine picked up, give one of our team members a quick call to check if we have availability. We always do our best to accommodate our customers, but please note that it may not always be possible depending on the time of day, location, and other factors. We'll let you know if we can assist!

  • When you arrive, look for the green sign that says "DROP OFF AREA." Please drop off all hired equipment in this designated area. This helps our staff efficiently service the machines right beside the workshop and return them to their proper places. Thank you for making the process smoother!

  • All equipment must be returned by closing time. If you’re unable to make it back on time, please inform our staff before closing, and we’ll discuss possible arrangements. Late returns without notice may incur additional charges.

Delivery

  • Delivery costs are based on the equipment being delivered, the distance traveled, the required delivery time, and the type of vehicle needed for transport. For an accurate quote, contact our team with your delivery details.

  • Junortoun Hire delivers across Bendigo and surrounding areas. The delivery range depends on the equipment, distance, and transport requirements. Contact us for details and a delivery quote based on your location.
